The latest build of UniCharts electronic medical records system is available in two versions:

Standard UniCharts™ EMR
Certified UniCharts™ EMR

The standard version of the EMR contains all the features that physicians normally need to run their clinical practices effectively. The certified version, on the other hand, is ONC-ATCB approved and includes features of the standard version PLUS functionality mandated by the government to enable physicians avail Stage 1 stimulus funding. Therefore the standard version is for specialties that are not eligible for stimulus, or who do not want to avail stimulus, or who do not have enough Medicare or Medicaid patient population, or who are cash-only practices, or who are located outside the United States. This also implies that certified version is for providers who are eligible and also want to avail stimulus funding offered by the government.
