Completing Initial Configuration
A clinic and its super user are automatically added when the EMR server is started for the first time. But during the process, system inserts dummy data in many of the fields such as clinic’s street address and phone numbers, and super user’s professional ID and daily schedule etc. Therefore, before moving on to customizing other aspects of the EMR you should first complete/update the clinic and its super user configuration, as shown below:

Clicking on the Edit Clinic button will open a window that will allow you to edit clinic information, including changing of a clinic's name and appointment book timings. Note that for the Bookings start at dropdown under appointment book settings, you should select time at which first appointment of the day is booked at your clinic. If you start seeing patients at different times on different weekdays, select time of the day when you start earliest. For example, if you start seeing patients at 8.00 am on Mondays and 9.00 am on other weekdays, you should select "8.00 - am" from the dropdown. Similarly, if there will be multiple providers added to the system, select time of the first appointment of that provider who starts seeing patients earliest. For the Bookings end at dropdown, select time at which you end last appointment of the day. If you end seeing patients at different times on different weekdays, then select time of that day when you end most late. For example, if you end seeing patients at 4.00 pm on Mondays whereas 5.00 pm on other weekdays, you should select "5.00 - pm" from the dropdown list. Similarly, if there will be multiple providers added to the system, select time of the last appointment of that provider who end seeing patients last.

Clicking on the icon beside super user’s name will open a window that will allow you to edit super user information. Note that if super user is not a provider, his or her name may be removed from the appointment book by selecting "No" on the “Is this user scheduleable?” radio button. On the other hand, select "Yes" (if it is not already selected) and adjust daily timings and day-offs as appropriate. Note that you may define up to two sessions on any particular day of the week. In case there are three sessions, you will either need to combine the third session with the second or just define a long single session to cover all sessions of the day.
